Looking for better fuel mileage as far as transmission goes, I'd go with a 700r4. It's got a nice low 1st gear and overdrive as 4th. No electronics, just old school hydraulics.

The power glide and the 350 turbohydromatic are both 1 to 1 in drive and keep in mind that the speed limit was over 70mph when the power glide was popular, the 350 just has an extra lower gear for pulling off from a stop but there's no difference in rpm at hyway speed

The turquoise motors from GM were marine until they went to black on everything, because you know colors are way more expensive than black 😂😂

Watching you pull strings to turn on the lights reminds me of my grandfather's garage where he extended all of the strings and ran them across the ceiling and down the wall and tied them off to a nail next to the door. That way he could turn them all on or off as he was going in or out the door.

Anytime you got the deck out I recommend you flip it over clean the stuck on grass off the decks bottom with a drill and wire whee. Then buy a can of rubberized under coating and spray it on the bottom. Check all bearing and sharpen your blades. It's worth the extra time .

again i took tree off and just discovered it has smaller flywheels than normal18"x2&1/4" normal 20"x1&3/4"
